4 kmOn this city walk, you can experience Kerkrade town centre in just 90 minutes! The route combines the ambience of the centre with a surprising amount of green space, culture, and history. You'll start at HuB Kerkrade and walk across the Markt with its beautiful town hall towards the Museumplein. The route then follows the paths of the Anstel Valley to the green grounds of Erenstein Castle. You'll stroll through the Municipal Park and past the colourful Viva la Vida statue, back to the shopping area. At one of the cosy outdoor cafés, you can think back on all the beauty you've seen along the way.
